Today is National Train Day! While most of us won't be celebrating by riding the rails on Amtrak, you may stop by Griffith Park and try the miniature train ride. While BUSY on the weekend, if you have the luxury of going during the week, lines are short. There are pony rides near by and a concession stand selling nothing but good old fashioned junk food.
This really is a must do for older toddlers and preschoolers- note: some young toddlers can be a little frightened by the noise. Below is a link to their website:
