FOUND on Etsy: Dolls

Recently we received an email from a gentleman with a genius Mother's Day gift Idea- on the off chance his lovely wife read this humble blog, we felt it was important to keep quiet.  The for mentioned gentleman was seeking guidance in locating dolls or more specifically dolls which could be designed after his family. So we went on a little doll seeking mission over at Etsy and here is a taste of what we found.

Urastarhouse makes our favorite! Fun, silly, ridiculous, a great conversation piece, easy to clean, the children will love them, and  handmade in the United States, what's not to love! If you know anyone getting married this summer, these cake toppers are fantastic!

Looking for a new friend?

If you are on the hunt for a new lovey for a little person in your life- check out HazelVillage Designs hailing from Brooklyn, USA. These adorable critters will surely make your short-ee smile and you will smile too knowing that each design is handmade and their wee little outfits are made from salvaged fabric scraps. This pleases us to no end- we feel it is compulsory to have everything re-used and used up!

Sesame Seed Designs

From what we can gather from our friends around the country, it's cold out there! We do miss the need for a great winter cap. Sesame Seed Design creates these lovely baby caps from recycled cashmere. There are pouches for your gadgets and cozy sleeves for your morning coffee as well.  We are hoping this takes a little bit of the bite out of the cold.

Let it Snow!!

We had these as little girls and often wish they were still made in our sizes. While in LA we may not need to be winter ready (though it recently was 37 degrees overnight) we both have trips planned back to the Midwest for Christmas. We are seriously thinking about getting some in our sizes!

From Etsy shop Little Muffet These should have you  in the Holiday spirit in no time!

FOUND on Etsy!

Holy Cow, these are some costumes!  If ever you needed a replica dress fit for Queen Elizabeth it seems the Etsy shop Nellie Carave is the place to saunter off to.  For the girl who would live in her princess dress if she could, each dress is "couture finished lining plus inter-lining, heirloom quality fabrics, lightly boned bodice, hand cartridge-pleated skirt and has an adjustable corset-style fitting".

We want one for kicks!
