Jumina- A Norwegian Fairytale

There is just so much to love about Jumina! This adorable clothing company (hailing from Norway) not only presents the world with these marvelous handcrafted clothes, but they are also dedicated to
beautiful clothes but they are dedicated to eco-friendly design. They wanted to build a earth friendly workshop and gallery, so they turned to straw! Their entire gallery is created from straw mixed with sand and clay. We love this so much.

 What a great idea! Apparently there are only 60 buildings like this in Norway.

Let it Snow!!

We had these as little girls and often wish they were still made in our sizes. While in LA we may not need to be winter ready (though it recently was 37 degrees overnight) we both have trips planned back to the Midwest for Christmas. We are seriously thinking about getting some in our sizes!

 We love the pictures from the brilliant photographer at Photos by Rome! While you can never go wrong with the combination of boys and their dogs these photos capture the essence of boyhood. We have been a fan of Tom's Shoes for awhile. Recently, the founder Blake Mycoskie, in a speech at Vanderbilt University told students that he hoped people would be inspired by his company to create companies of their own which help others.

Now a New Zealand company has joined the party. Selling ethically sourced leather sheepskin boots, Babies In Sheepskin donates money to a nonprofit children's charity for every pair of booties sold. It's the perfect time to gather cozy boots and slippers for little feet.

Bergdorf's was listening. . .

We are happy to report that one of our favorite lines for girls, Hucklebones will be making its Bergdorf Goodman debut this Fall.  Awhile back we posted on what we would carry at Bergdorf's and apparently they are finally getting their act together.  We couldn't be happier for Hucklebones!!!
