Museum of the City

The Museum of the City in New York has more than just a dollhouse exhibit. It houses an entire toy collection!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the pond, London has spectacular Museum dedicated to nothing but Childhood!!
This museum houses a large variety of dollhouses. The dollhouse, below, is known as the Nuremberg House and was created in 1673!
A favorite part of this exhibit is the rich historical information which is presented with each artifact! Often, these homes can tell us a story about who created them. Tiny clues range from the replica books that house the bookshelves, to framed pictures of religious and spiritual leaders.
